Mezzo is a real estate startup that flips the property buying experience on its head.
The startup is essentially a 2-sided marketplace where property buyers, and buyers agents, can list what they're looking for in a property and sellers, and agents, can connect to sell property, that matches their requirements, to them.
The end result is a faster and more cost-effective process that benefits all players in the eco system and disrupts the current seller-driven process.
The founder approached Launch Lab with a very specific plan on launching the startup to the US market and had a very clear idea of the features that would be required.
We designed the website and the overall product with a focus on the launch city: Chicago. The result is a modern, clean and focussed website. The product UX is minimal ensuring low friction to new users.
The product includes use of the Stripe Payments API as well customer identity verification using the Plaid API.
Our biggest learning from the project was from a copy writing point of view. We've learned how different the US market is to Australia and the style and tone of copy used, not only in adverts, but also on the website needs a different approach.
The product uses a US datacenter. If you're viewing from Australia you might experience slight latency on page load due to this.
